Tests of soil and groundwater contamination rely on a suitable sampling in the field and laboratory analysis which yields a list of concentrations of harmful substances.

The aim of the study is to determine the potential contamination within the framework of construction works, as well as to determine the impact of the planned investment on the environment. 

The scope of tests includes:

• determination of aggressiveness of the water or soil towards the concrete and steel
• determination of the content of heavy metals, petroleum substances
• determination of the concentration of any other substances, depending on the Customer's needs

INGEO Sp. z o.o as a specialized company offers a test report from the quality of soil and groundwater. Works are started from the identification of the list of potential contaminants that might be expected in the given area. After determining the research and designation of the measuring points we make sampling of the soil or water. It is extremely important that the sample was not further contaminated at the time. Samples are placed in sterile containers and sent to an accredited laboratory where measurement of contaminants in accordance with the applicable standards PN or ISO is executed. Then, the analysis is made and the interpretation of obtained results, as well as verification of the hypothesis of a potential contamination. In this assessment, the content of acceptable substances depending on the terrain features and the depth of sampling should be taken into account. An important supplement is a statistical estimate of the contamination based on the measurement of dispersion and the spatial analysis.
